easy access to landmarks and lovely park strolls nearby
The hotel was perfectly situated just a short stroll from both the Kyoto International Manga Museum and Heian Shrine, making it an ideal spot for weekend walks to discover both culture and nature. it's also just a few minutes from the subway station for those who want to venture further out into the city.

The hotel provided a lovely atmosphere for relaxation.
While the location was fairly peaceful, it felt a bit distant from some main attractions. I found myself walking longer distances than anticipated to reach restaurants or transportation options. Additionally, the limited dining choices nearby was frustrating, especially after long days of exploration.

The Twin Room provided a comfortable and well-thought-out layout, perfect for our needs with a cozy ambiance and lovely lacquerware decor. The location was a huge plus, just a quick walk from Karasuma Oike subway station and surrounded by a variety of dining options. While the front desk staff were friendly, their limited presence was noticeable during our stay. Additionally, the lack of on-site dining options was a bit disappointing, and although convenience stores were nearby, it would have been nice to have more variety within the hotel itself.

stay had potential , but lacked some essentials
My Superior Twin Room was exceptionally spacious and beautifully decorated, providing a comfortable retreat. The location offered peace, while still being close enough to major attractions. I appreciated the helpful cheat sheet of nearby dining and laundry options, making my stay even easier. The service staff were consistently friendly and responsive, which added a personal touch to my experience.
The front desk was not always manned, which caused a few minor inconveniences.
